Summerset Igniter Pin for Single and Double Side Burners

This is the igniter pin (electrode) for Summerset single and double side burners. It sits next to the burner and throws the spark that lights the gas. Replace it when the ceramic is cracked or the burner no longer sparks.

Before replacing the pin, check the igniter wire connection. Turn off the gas and power before working on the ignition.

Finding your Summerset model and serial number is easy.

Summerset model numbers look like SIZ32, TRL38 or SZRPRO40. The series, the size and the gas type all change which part fits.

Find the rating plate. It lists the model, the gas type and the serial number.

On Summerset grills it is on the outside of the firebox (grill basin), and on some models it is also on the underside of the drip tray.
