30", 42" and 54" Hood Extension Spring with Hook
The 31874 is one of the two springs that help lift the hood on 30", 42" and 54" Lynx grills from 2006 on. When a spring wears out, the hood feels heavy, drops fast, or won't stay open.
Before You Order
Your grill uses two springs. Replace both at once so the hood lifts evenly. 27" and 36" grills take the 31780.
Replace Them in Pairs
Your hood rides on a spring at each side. Fresh springs on both sides keep it from sagging or slamming.
