Summerset The Oven Thermocouple - THERMO-OV

Thermocouple for the Summerset The Oven gas outdoor oven. It sits in the burner flame and tells the gas valve the burner is lit; if the flame goes out, the valve shuts off the gas. A worn thermocouple is the usual cause when the oven lights but goes out as soon as you let go of the knob.

Check Your Grill’s Compatibility

Before You Order

The Hybrid oven (OV-HYB) uses different thermocouples (11752 for the gas burner, 11765 for the wood burner), so check your model first. Turn off the gas before servicing.

Summerset model numbers look like SIZ32, TRL38 or SZRPRO40. The series, the size and the gas type all change which part fits.

Find the rating plate. It lists the model, the gas type and the serial number.

On Summerset grills it is on the outside of the firebox (grill basin), and on some models it is also on the underside of the drip tray.
